Welcome to Tapting Samaj Sewa
The Tapting Social Service Solu Tapting, Nepal (Tapting Samaj Sewa) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the Sherpa community, promoting and preserving Sherpa culture,tradition, heritage and strengthening mutual cooperation of Tapting Sherpa in Kathmandu. Sherpa people are from the Himalayas, a magical place where the world's highest mountains are mirrored in the rugged beauty and unique culture of those who live in their shadow. Tapting Sherpa Kyidug was founded on June 7th 2009 to create a welcoming community open to all Tapting Sherpa people. Our mission is very basic, to help each other while strengthening cultural values and traditions.
